<p>If you are a Canadian Citizen (i.e. have a Canadian Passport) you don&#8217;t need to apply for a US Visa to visit, but just need to appear at the port-of-entry to get your passport stamped. However, if you are in Canada for any other reason (Visitor, Worker, Student or Permanent Resident), you need to obtain a Visa.</p>
<p>Visa&#8217;s have to be processed in person at a Consulate in one of these cities: Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, Halifax orVancouver.</p>
<p>You have a 6-week window to book for an appointment and a Consulate in one of the above cities. The fee for booking is $8.55CAD.</p>
